2027 CBLF updates

Interested in appearing at CBLF 2027?

Our inaugural festival was a critical and popular success. Building on the foundation established in 2026, we have started our planning for the 2027 edition. With a theme of Voices of Past, Present, and Future, the next Canadian Black Literary Festival will be held in Ajax on August 27-28, 2027.

We will be featuring Black Canadian voices on stage as part of our activities. The potential remains for an international lineup of artists in future years. For now, we are accepting appearance requests from writers based in Canada only.

Keep checking this space to find out more about the kinds of events that will be part of CBLF 2027, as well as for announcements about the program, venues, sponsors, partners and more!
